From initial inspection to waste disposal, we take your responsibilities seriously for all types of fuel storage tanks.
Initial Inspection
We begin by assessing fuel levels and tank condition. A KpH operative, equipped with full PPE and gas monitoring equipment, accesses the tank via the inspection hatch to carry out initial checks.
Contamination Check
After opening the tank, our Operative conducts a quick inspection for any signs of contamination. If higher levels of contamination are detected, we collect samples for further analysis.
Fuel Removal
Using vacuum tankers, we pump clean fuel from the tank's bottom outlet onto the tanker. This process continues until all the clean fuel has been drained.
Cleaning the tank and flushing associated pipework
Specialist water jetting equipment is used to remove sediments, sludge and residues. The tank is then dewatered and degassed, and all associated pipework is flushed to ensure complete removal of contaminants.
Pumping clean fuel back into the clean storage tank
Our vacuum tankers will return and pump the clean oil into the tank.
