KpH Environmental was appointed by ANTS Group to undertake a detailed confined space survey of an underground Second World War bunker. Accessed via narrow below-ground entrances, the brick-lined tunnels presented restricted headroom, standing water and inherent confined space risks. The survey was delivered by fully trained operatives using specialist equipment and project-specific RAMS to safely assess access constraints, structural condition and environmental hazards, including facilitating asbestos and chemical surveys under strict health and safety controls.
