Brief Description

KpH Environmental was approached by Galliford Try to support them on new pipeline project in Surrey. As part of that project a significant tank filtration system needed to be deconstructed to allow access for the new pipeline to be installed into the adjacent treatment plant. KpH Environmental put forward a method and safe system of work to carry out the project not only safely but also the challenge to maintain access to the client as this was a busy live site.

Scope of work

With an agreed plan of work and programme the team set about the deconstruction of the high/low level pipework and gantries to free up the individual 30,000ltr buffer tanks ready for the contract lifts to move them off site. With great teamwork, the tanks were diligently removed to allow the remaining infrastructure to be deconstructed to leave the site ready for the new pipeline installation.
