Brief Description

Redundant fuel storage infrastructure within the basement plant areas of Queen Elizabeth Hospital required full decommissioning and removal as part of a wider operational upgrade. The works were carried out while the hospital remained fully live, with critical services operating continuously throughout the programme.Given the proximity of the plant rooms to sensitive clinical and operational areas, the fuel tank decommissioning project demanded absolute control over sequencing, access and waste movement.
