Brief Description

KpH Environmental was appointed to carry out the decommissioning and removal of multiple commercial gas-fired boilers and associated flue systems within Portcullis House, Westminster.The project involved coordinated works across basement and rooftop plant areas within a live, secure government building, requiring careful logistics and controlled working methods.

Scope of work

Mobilisation and set-up within the boiler house
Strip-out and dismantling of four sectional Remeha gas-fired boilers
Removal of associated localised pipework to first isolation points
Strip-out of boiler flues from the rear of the boilers to the base of the flue stack
Removal of redundant flues from the rooftop plant room
Waste removal via lifts and designated routes to site skips

Outcome:
