Brief Description:
We were awarded the contract to open and degas 6no. redundant belowground tanks, these were a combination of foam and concrete slurry tanks. The site was tight and located on the corner of a busy road, with shared utilities across the boundary; the team had to be extremely methodical in cutting and removing the tanks.
Scope of Works:
  • Working Area Secured and Signage Put Up
  • Cold Cutting Open the Tanks
  • Digging out and Removal of RG22 Foam
  • Client Lifted Tanks
  • Tanks Cut into Manageable Sections using Hot Cutting Methods
  • Interceptor opened up and Cleaned
  • Tank and RG22 foam were safely disposed
